Becky Hindley – My Story
After 30 years of being an actor I decided to follow another creative path and embrace my other passion, flowers.
In 2018 I transformed my garden into a cutting garden and everything else evolved from there. I love to use what I grow and put back into the earth what I take out. I celebrate the quirky, wonky and imperfect. Seasonality and locally sourced is very important to me. I describe myself as a “borager”, someone who forages for botanical elements and uses them to create one off pieces.
I’m based on the Lancashire/Cumbria boarder and the countryside around me is my inspiration. I’m a collector of bark, moss, stones, interesting branches and anything that catches my eye. I am also influenced by art, food, the written word and all things theatrical. I love working on collaborations with other creatives and likeminded people.
